Lake District National Park

The Lake District is a place of stunning beauty and immense tranquilty with a vast variety of walks and hiking routes for you to explore. For a slower pace,  there are many places of natural beauty for you and your family to sit back, relax and soak up the atmosphere.

La'l Ratty

Visit a  very special jewel of the Lake District on a perfect journey down one of the oldest and longest narrow gauge railways in England. With seven stops for you to explore, all with different appeal,  this attraction is more than accomodating for adults and children alike.

Muncaster Castle

Sterp through the great halls of the historic Muncaster Castle or explore the vast and incredibly beautiful gardens when visiting Muncaster Castle . With their Owl and Hawk sanctuary on the grounds as well as other attractions you are sure to be entertained on your visit.

Black Combe

One of the most famous southernly peaks in the Lake District nd only 30 metres off being a mountain. Black Combe is practically pearched on water. With the most stunning views and excellent pathways it is perfectly positioned for fantastic hikes, scenic walks and beautiful picnincs.

Stanley Ghyll

Come and visit one of  Lakelands most beautiful waterfalls. With unpresidented natural vegitation and charming rambling woodlands surrounding the ravines, the natural beauty of Stanley Ghyll is sure to take your breath away, and as a bonus is accesible through the ever popular Eskdale railway line.


Lying on the Duddon Estuary, Haverigg is a small fishing village steeped in local history and charm and  full of local attractions including a 3 mile golden sandy beach perfect for walks, paddling and picnics and perfectly quaint pubs situated within the village  alongside the village shops.


Conistons most notable attraction is of course Conistons old man. With its fantastic walks and excellent tracks this is surely a particular favourite of the avid hiker. However there is so much more to enjoy in Coniston such as its watersports, Coniston waters and Steam Yachts to name but a few.


Windermere is one of the most thriving tourist towns in the Lake District. Hugely popular due to its large lake, stunning beauty and thriving town attractions such as its Lakes Aquarium, boating rides and watersports as well as beautiful boutique shops and stunning eateries of all varieties.


Blessed with beautiful scenery and being abundantly rich in history and heritage, Ambleside is a sure fire favourite of the keen walker.
